Imagine sleeping in a bed that had been slept in by your grandmother, and your mother, and eventually the little girl from the same family many generations ago. It makes one wonder what her life was like and whether her bold and independent style would be passed on to subsequent generations of women. Shown is a 1940's bed that belonged to a mother at the famous Waldorf School in Austin. The piece was was completely restored with all broken pieces return to new, creating an important heirloom for her daughter and generations to come.
